Hello, I’m Sarah Lopez. For my capstone project, I initially wanted to put on an art show, showcasing all the work I have done over recent years from photography to clay sculpting. I contacted artist Wendy Wight to get insight into curating an art show. Due to the pandemic, I had to rethink this plan. Instead, I decided to take what I learned from Ms. Wight and create a website for my final project. I developed an archive for my artwork, taking photos and writing artist statements for each piece. The following video provides further insight into my design and thought processes as well as a look into my journey of discovering what I want to pursue as a career. I will be attending college at Nottingham Trent University in England where I will study set design for film and television. I hope you enjoy my work.
