Photos show my process of layering elements of the real environment with a digital background to produce the effect of depth and immersion. The project was for a presentation on the Salem Witch trials. I found fear had stemmed from the wild imagination of the Puritans. I wanted to demonstrate how the mind can lose sight of reality by creating The Devil in the Woods.
